Rocket League is teaming up with NASCAR to release a NASCAR 2021 fan pack that will be available later this week. The fan pack, which will be available in the Rocket League item shop, will feature three NASCAR cars, as well as decals and player banners.
The NASCAR collaboration is Rocket League’s latest crossover, as developer Psyonix has a long history of collaborating with other brands to reach more players. Last week, for example, Psyonix partnered with the NFL to bring back a limited-time content in celebration of the 2021 draft. While Psyonix traditionally collaborates with other entertainment brands, the developer has recently focused on striking more deals with car-related companies. That includes a deal last month with Lamborghini to offer players a limited time Lamborghini Huracan STO bundle.
The limited NASCAR 2021 fan pack will be available in Rocket League's item store from May 6 through May 12, and will feature three cars, including a NASCAR Ford Mustang, NASCAR Chevrolet Camaro, and NASCAR Toyota Camry. The pack will also feature nine team decals and player banners. Those teams include Roush Fenway Racing #6, Stewart-Haas Racing #10, Team Penske #22, Chip Ganassi Racing #1, Richard Childress Racing #3, Hendrick Motorsports #9, Richard Petty Motorsports #43, Joe Gibs Racing #18, and 23XI Racing #23. The pack costs 2,000 credits.
The fan pack celebrates the NASCAR World Cup Series Race at Darlington Raceway in South Carolina on May 9. While the pack will no longer be available after May 12, it will return later in the year to promote future NASCAR events. The collaboration is a multi-year deal, meaning fans should expect the pack to return to promote NASCAR events for years to come. The nine team sponsors also mark the first time that corporate sponsorships will be included in Rocket League. Psyonix reportedly allowed the sponsorships because it recognized them as a key aspect of NASCAR racing cars.

Because of its gimmicky Hot Wheels design, this is not a popular choice for many. But in reality, this car can come in handy in any match. For those who prefer a defensive role throughout the game, the length and width of the car are perfect for deflecting hits from the sidelines or pass.
But for the more aggressive players, the Twin Mill III's flat, wide, and short "nose" is perfect for ball control and straight-on hits. Players have to get used to the feel and style of this car, but that can be said for any other car in the game. For the players who don't mind, or are a fan of the Hot Wheels design, this could be a favorite.
