Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War patch notes for Season Two

The latest round of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War patch notes are out, bringing a new sniper rifle, updates to Zombies, and more.

The headline addition of this April 7 patch is the addition of the ZRG 20mm sniper rifle, a heavy duty sniper rifle which is now available in both Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Call of Duty Warzone. This chunky sniper 20mm rounds, meaning it’s basically a tank cannon that you can carry around with you. Unsurprisingly, this hefty rifle does more damage per shot than any weapon in the game. You can unlock the ZRG through in-game challenges or in the “Jackpot Sniper” bundle.

Alongside that absolute cannon of a gun, there's also a bunch of stability updates for the Outbreak Zombies mode and new gameplay updates for the other two Zombie modes, Dead Ops Arcade 3 and Onslaught. 

Outside the world of the undead, there are also some bug fixes including getting rid of an out-of-bounds glitch in the new Miami Strike map. There has also been a tweak to the RC-XD's damage output and fixes to the Camo Progression system. You can see the full changelog below or on the Treyarch website.

As if that wasn’t enough, Treyarch has also announced that this weekend will be a four-day Double XP Weekend, starting at 10AM PT on April 8 and running until Monday, April 12. This is a great opportunity to power up through the ranks to reach Prestige Master, before the season ends.
