Mario Day became a thing when the internet discovered that March 10 can read like the iconic Nintendo mascot's birthday when written as MAR10. Nintendo eventually started recognizing Mario Day and began offering discounts on Super Mario games on Mario Day. In recent years, Mario Day has become somewhat of a week-long event, so a lot of the available deals have been live all week. Super Mario Maker 2 offers a ton of side-scrolling Mario fun whether you're creating your own levels or running through one of the thousands of user-created levels. Super Mario Odyssey is one of the best games on Nintendo Switch. The 3D platformer adds a number of new tricks to Mario's arsenal thanks to the help of his sentient cap. Each of the world's you explore are quite large, which gives Odyssey an open-world feel. Super Mario Odyssey is incredibly polished and filled with exciting platforming challenges and puzzles.
