Fortnite Features Llambro Crew Member Skin in New Trailer

Although Epic Games' massive battle royale Fortnite remains free-to-play, it recently debuted a paid subscription service referred to as "Fortnite Crew." Costing $12 USD per month, Fortnite Crew is an expanded version of the game's previous Battle Pass system which features all-new goodies for Fortnite players.

The Battle Pass, which allows players to level up and earn rewards by winning battles and completing in-game objectives, remains present, but can now be purchased alongside a Crew subscription. Previously, a Battle Pass cost $9.50 USD per month. This may be in response to fans previously criticizing the "grindy" nature of the Battle Pass.

A Fortnite Crew membership includes each month's Battle Pass, 1,000 of the in-game currency V-Bucks, and a monthly "Crew Pack." Each Crew Pack contains a variety of goodies, including at least one new skin and accessory.

March may be said to come "in like a lion," but, in Fortnite, it looks like the third month of the year will be coming in like a llama instead. Not just any llama, but a pretty cool familiar face which Fortnite players should recognize. A trailer posted to YouTube shows off March's exclusive Fortnite Crew skin: Llambro, a colorful character inspired by the game's popular llama mascot. Previous Fortnite Crew skins include the space-inspired Galaxia and the Fox Clan warrior Vi.

Entitled "A Llegend Enters," the trailer features Llambro charging into battle, unicorn-inspired horn pointed forward and both gun and pickaxe at the ready. He is shown blending powerful attacks with eye-catching color and style.

The entire package includes the Llambro Outfit, Up North Back Bling, Puffcorn Pickaxe, and The Llegend Wrap. The skin features a bright rainbow color scheme and puffy, fluffy clothes perfect for battling outdoors in the cold winter weather.

The pack went live at midnight on February 28th, so that Fortnite Crew subscribers would have access to Llambro as soon as the month of March began. Players who are not yet subscribers but are interested in the Llambro goodies can purchase a subscription before the end of March in order to receive the month's Crew Pack.

The current season of Fortnite, Chapter 2 Season 5, entitled Zero Point, remains ongoing. It is themed around hunters from multiple different universes and has featured skins inspired by God of War's Kratos, Alien's Ripley and the Xenomorph, and many more. The season is currently scheduled to end on March 15th. Players interested in purchasing the seasonal skins available in the in-game Shop should do so prior to this date.

Epic Games' Fortnite is one of the most popular modern games on the planet, and it helped to establish the battle royale genre as a heavy-hitter for many in the industry. However, Pokemon has been an international phenomenon for much of its 25-year history, and Nintendo recently confirmed its Switch entries Sword and Shield are the third best-selling Pokemon games ever made. Two great tastes taste great together, as they say, and one artist recently combined Fortnite and Pokemon in an interesting way.

At the end of Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4, Marvel Comics characters helped players take on Galactus before the world eater could destroy the in-game map.
