Apex Legends Reveals Season 9 Battle Pass Contents

Apex Legends is gearing up for Season 9, which looks to be one of the biggest season updates in the game's two year history. With the introduction of Apex Legends' new Arena mode and the recon Legend Valkyrie, players have a ton of new content to look forward when the Legacy update releases on May 4.

Alongside the new permanent mode and Legend coming in Legacy, players will also have access to brand new skins, dive emotes, and weapon skins. Now, Apex Legends has released a trailer detailing some of the new cosmetic goodies coming in the Season 9 battle pass, including Legendary skins for both Rampart and Wraith.
The trailer highlights these two Legendary skins, alongside the two new Legendary weapon skins for the Devotion and Spitfire LMGs. Both Rampart and Wraith's skins look great, with both incorporating iconic Japanese mythology into the overall designs. Rampart's "Crafty Kitsune" skin sees the Legend wearing a Kitsune mask on her shoulder, complete with an orange and white color scheme. Wraith's "Demon's Whisper" skin is a bit more flashy, with a Wraith wearing a crimson Oni mask on her head combined with an overall crimson and green color scheme.

Additionally, Apex Legends' newest character, Valkyrie, is getting a battle pass skin. Valkyrie's skin, which has a pleasant pink floral motif across her flight suit, is one of the free battle pass rewards, meaning players can unlock it by simply reaching the required battle pass level during Season 9. Additionally, the Season 9 battle pass includes brand new music packs, banners, loading screens, weapon charms, and holosprays to unlock. Finally, the trailer showed off three new dive emotes for Octane, Caustic, and Valkyrie for players to use to impress their team during the drop.
However, the battle pass doesn't seem to include any of the new ground emotes coming to Apex Legends in Season 9, meaning players will have to get lucky with look crates if they want to show off during battle. Luckily, the battle pass will provide players will a hefty amount of loot crates as players progress through the levels. EA's official Apex Legends website has a full page dedicated to all 110 levels of the new battle pass, so interested players should definitely give it a look before purchasing. As with every Apex Legends battle pass, the Season 9 battle pass will cost players 10 USD to purchase.

However, players who have enough Apex Coins in Apex Legends can purchase the battle pass with their in-game currency. Those players who maxed out their Season 8 battle pass completely should have been provided with enough Apex Coins to purchase Season 9's battle pass straight away. From the looks of the full list, it seems as if Season 9's battle pass has a ton of awesome cosmetic rewards for players who are able to put in the time and effort to unlock them. All in all, it looks like Season 9 is going to be quite the stylish season for Apex Legends.
