Pumpity Dumpity sat on a wall
After the hype he had a great fall
All the king's horses and all the king's men
Couldn't get back the investment again

Farewell my friend, my nest egg, my vacation, my retirement, my hard-earned money. Oh, how I mourn the loss you have created in my pocketbook. You slipped away from me so quickly and so easily due to the slick unscrupulous tactics of greedy unethical people. However, your loss has taught me a great lesson and I now know what I need to do.

Hindsight is 20/20 as they say but if you have the foresight to learn from other's mistakes, you don't have to lose YOUR investment too - and in fact, you can make a substantial profit from penny stocks once you know how to do this.

So many people believe the hype and misinformation floating around the internet. It's easy for scamsters to get people to believe them. Why? Because people have such a deep desire to make a fortune overnight. They'll believe almost anything if it promises to give them what they want. Fraudsters prey on this desire. They know exactly what psychological buttons to push and they push repeatedly. You have to develop a defense to this.

Trading penny stocks can be extremely profitable but you have to immunize yourself from the hype before you can really make serious money.

If you get taken in by the hype, even if you get lucky once in a while, overall you'll watch your investments crash and burn - you'll lose more than you win.

Again, you need to IMMUNIZE yourself from the hype - and the best way I know to do this is to train yourself to recognize immediately the signs of the pump and dump scams and don't allow yourself to get drawn into them. Learn to recognize the signs early and then promise yourself that you'll walk away from it as soon as you recognize the information as a pump and dump.

This really works.

Any time you see a stock being "pumped up" in a free newsletter that offers free penny stock picks, BEWARE. This is a tell-tale sign of a classic pump and dump. If you see the same stock being hyped in more than one newsletter, you know for sure it's a pump and dump and you need to walk away immediately.

The same is true if you see this same tactic on a discussion board or multiple boards. If you see this, don't continue to follow those threads. Not only is it a waste of your time, if you get drawn in more deeply you, you'll become more tempted to put real money into these scams.

You need to train yourself to recognize the signs of a pump and dump early and then promise yourself you'll walk away as soon as you recognize it.

If you see at the end of any message that hypes a stock a disclaimer that discloses the company or individual has been PAID to promote the company, immediately hit the delete button because this is almost assuredly a pump and dump. And please.... DO NOT forward this junk to your friends!

If anyone tries to pressure you in any way to buy a certain penny stock, I can almost guarantee it is a pump and dump. This includes someone calling you on the phone, leaving messages for you, sending a series of high pressure emails to you, or sending a snail mail letter packet of high pressure information.

Pressure to buy = major sign of pump and dump!

Do not get drawn into this nonsense.

So many people get taken by these scam artists preying on the emotions of people who want (or need) to make money. You just need to make a very conscious decision that you are going to immunize yourself to these pump and dump scams. You need to become Teflon to the pump and dump. They let it stick - just let it slide right off and walk away.

Frankly, I now ignore most of what I read about penny stocks because the vast majority of it is just hype. The penny stock landscape is covered with it because as quickly as people lose all their money and burn out, there are new gullible suckers coming in. How many times have you read on the boards, "Hi. I'm a newbie and I have a question..." Of course there's always plenty of scamsters ready and willing to sell them some hype.

You need to move beyond this hype to make real money with penny stocks.

I used to spend a lot of time reading everything I could about penny stocks and after filtering out all the hype I've got a solid knowledge of how it all works. However, these days I spent a lot less time overall and I make way more money than I used to. This is because I have figured out that the real key to making good money with penny stocks is to buy premium picks - NOT costly "free" picks that will only make you end up losing your investment - but rather PREMIUM PICKS from a very select talented investors that have the uncanny ability to figure out which penny stocks to buy and exactly when to buy them - these are NOT the same type of people you see on TV analyzing the fundamentals of mid-cap and large-cap stocks. Premium penny stock picks require a very different kind of research.

These days, I spend more time analyzing the performance of the people BEHIND the premium picks, not the penny stocks themselves. In this way I stay insulated from all the ridiculous pump and dump scams. I strongly encourage you to do the same.

Here's the one of the best penny stock pick services I have found. I've tested his picks and th
