Those who have managed to snag a next generation console like the PlayStation 5 have been able to tap into new experiences thanks to the increased horsepower and technology on those systems. While major exclusive games have been a bit scarce for the time being, 2021 is already shaping up to be a huge year, especially on the PlayStation 5. Housemarque's Returnal is due out in a matter of days, Ghostwire: Tokyo and Deathloop from the now Microsoft owned Bethesda arrive later this year, and Insomniac's anticipated Rather & Clank: Rift Apart set for June.
Originally revealed last summer during Sony's PS5 event, the latest game in the Ratchet and Clank series sees the duo attempting to fix space and time which was seemingly broken by Dr. Nefarious. Using the power of the SSD, players will be able to instantly load into new dimensions by utilizing rifts, a feature which has left many fans impressed. After teasing fans over an upcoming gameplay reveal, Insomniac Games has delivered the first step on that promise with a brand new trailer showcasing more of the game's story.
The newest Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart trailer highlights the beginning phases of the game's story showing longtime villain Dr. Nefarious interrupting what appears to be a celebration and throwing the duo through a dimensional rift. However, upon landing, the team is not only separated but dumped into a darkened and rain soaked city where it would seem that Dr. Nefarious, now Emperor, has won and taken over.
The major reveal comes soon after as the mysterious female Lombax again appears and confirms her name as Rivet. She scoop up Clank and the trailer shifts to gameplay where Rivet is now the playable character utilizing rifts, rope swings, wall running, and more. What's interesting, this doesn't appear to be just a small section of the game either as the trailer reveals Rivet and Clank in multiple locations and in story cutscenes as well. Alternatively, Ratchet appears to be on his own mission to rescue Clank, teasing diverging gameplay elements in the full release.

While the trailer will likely excite longtime Ratchet and Clank fans, they won't have to wait too much longer to hear and see more about the game. Alongside the trailer, Sony also revealed that a special State of Play event is coming in just a few days on Thursday, April 29 which will feature extended gameplay of the anticipated exclusive. In addition, the event promises new information on a pair of upcoming indie titles as well.
Longtime Monster Hunter fans are no doubt familiar with Diablos, as it's essentially a series staple at this point. Naturally then, it returns to Monster Hunter Rise as a late game monster. Given the fact that it's a late Monster Hunter Rise monster, it might be reasonable to expect that it would be hard to take down. Despite that, it can apparently fall quite easily, as one player has managed to defeat it in under two minutes.

Team Darkside on YouTube is known for creating some rather impressive Monster Hunter videos such as one where they defeat Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate's flagship monster Valstrax in one hit. It doesn't come as a huge shock then that they are the ones who have posted a video of them defeating Diablos in single player with a total time of 1 minute and 39 seconds.
