The Persona series, especially Persona 5, is a franchise known for its style and art direction. The series is also known for its colorful cast of characters that players can choose to learn more about and spend time with. Catherine, also developed by Atlus, shares it's sense of style with Persona, despite the plots being pretty far removed from one another. Fans of the art direction of these games will be please to hear that they can get their hands on artbooks featuring artwork from both series.

Both of these artbooks were previously available in Japan, but are coming to the West for the first time. They both contain works from artist Shigenori Soejima whose library of work is mostly composed of games from the Shin Megami Tensei series (which Persona is a spin-off of). However, he did work on a few games outside of the series such as Stella Deus.

The first artbook, entitled Shigenori Soejima Artworks, was was originally released in 2011 in Japan and contains pieces from Soejima's body of work that he created from 2004 to 2010. The cover features Aigis first seen in Persona 3. Games included from this time period would include Persona 3 and Persona 4, as well as the aforementioned Stella Deus. It also features an interview with Soejima and runs a total of 152 pages.
When announced, the Capcom Arcade Stadium was viewed as another way to play classic Capcom arcade games that are no longer easily attainable. The platform attempts to recreate the look and feel of older devices with scanline filter and customizable displays. Games expected for the Capcom Arcade Stadium include the aforementioned 1943: The Battle of Midway, Street Fighter 2 Turbo, Final Fight, and many others.
According to the Microsoft Store, the release of the Capcom Arcade Stadium will happen May 25, 2021 for Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. According to Gematsu, it will also be on the PC and the PS4. The Microsoft release will include Capcom's 1943: The Battle of Midway as a free title.
Capcom is known for many of its arcade classics, and the Capcom Arcade Stadium is one attempt to bring these to home consoles. While many of the games mentioned have made their way onto consoles in the past, Capcom will look to build off of the platform to provide an authentic arcade feel. While the other previous-gen systems await the release, the Capcom Arcade Stadium has been on the Nintendo Switch since February 17. It currently has over 31 games available for purchase, marking a plethora of older titles available to a newer audience. All games for the Capcom Arcade Stadium were originally released before the year 2002.
The second artbook, entitled Shigenori Soejima and P-Studio Art Unit: Art Works 2 with a cover featuring Futaba Sakura from Persona 5, contains artwork created between 2010-2017. This features games such as Persona 5, Catherine, and Persona spin-offs which would presumably include such titles as Persona 4 Arena and Persona Q.  It was originally released in 2018 and will contain 208 pages as well as another interview with Soejima and the overall P-Studios art team.

Both of these books will be available on May 11, 2021 in English for the first time and will retail between $25 and $30 depending on the retailer. They can be ordered from both Target and RightStuf.
