Despite the fact that the first trailer has yet to drop, the hype train is already rolling for Battlefield 6. The next entry in DICE and EA's tentpole shooter is already being promoted by the companies, with EA CEO Andrew Wilson previously praising the debut trailer during the May 2021 earnings call. Despite this hype, leakers have been active in trying to dig up anything they can from the debut trailer as more alleged pictures from the trailer have hit the web.

While little is confirmed about Battlefield 6, any information already leaked or outright revealed points to the series returning to modern day after going back to World War 1 and World War 2 in the last two installments. Andrew Wilson spoke about the large battles players will get to enjoy in the next game and how next-gen hardware is allowing for even larger player counts. The larger battles and destructibility have been focuses of previous alleged leaks showing off the chaos in store for players.

The latest leaks doubled down on this notion as more alleged images highlight what appears to be a chaotic debut trailer for Battlefield 6. The newest leak was posted on Imgur as part of the larger  collection of Battlefield 6 images which appeared online over the last month. Like the previous leaks, these new pics show off a chaotic island battle with modern military aircraft storming the beaches as troops try to push further inland. The focus of this battle appears to be a military installation near the center of the island while a storm brews overhead, potentially changing the layout of the island.

While most of this information remains unconfirmed, it appears likely fans will get their first proper look at Battlefield 6 sooner rather than later. The most likely place fans will get their first official look at the game is the EA Play Live event scheduled to take place on July 22, 2021. The date is a departure for EA, which previously held the event during the weekend preceding E3. Other games fans would be likely to see include the latest entries in the FIFA and Madden series, which would not be surprising being two of EA's biggest annual franchises. Dragon Age 4 and Skate 4 don't appear as likely to appear, but would be a pleasant surprise for fans of both series.

However, Battlefield 6 would likely be a centerpiece game for the entire presentation. The Battlefield franchise has amassed one of the most dedicated fanbases in gaming thanks to its combination of destruction, vehicles, and large multiplayer matches. One aspect working in Battlefield 6's advantage this time around is the longer layover between major releases from DICE. The studio released a new, triple-A title every year between 2015 and 2018, and while this is an impressive streak, there's something to be said about giving studios more time to develop their games.

With Battlefield 6 being the first entry in the series since 2018’s Battlefield 5, the game has a lot to prove. Both EA and DICE seem to be confident in the project based on the little information shared thus far, though gamers still know little about the game. With the latest Battlefield title still not revealed, fans are forced to rely on rumors for information. While some have been random and hard-to-believe, like the robot dog leak, others have seemed more likely to be true.
