Among Us developer Innersloth has been particularly productive recently. Following the social deduction game's viral success, Innersloth decided to cancel development of Among Us 2 to focus on continued support of the original game. That came with a development wind-up, of course, as development shifted priorities, but this is now leading to updates like the Airship map. Now Innersloth is offering a look at some more upcoming Among Us changes, including a new meeting screen.

One of the game's biggest upcoming changes is the expansion of Among Us player lobbies to include more players. Right now, player lobbies in Among Us are limited to 10 players. That's enough players in a single match to make Among Us a success, but Innersloth believes that offering players the opportunity to have even larger lobbies is appealing. That's why Among Us will soon have lobbies allowing for up to 15 players.

With the expansion of lobbies in Among Us, Innersloth has to make changes to other aspects of the game. The biggest change is to the meeting screen, since it has to include information about every player in a lobby. Innersloth teased what the new meeting screen will look like in an upcoming update. It appears like a tablet where players are split into three columns of up to five people each. Dead players still have an "X" marked through them, while the person who called the meeting has a megaphone.

It's not a particularly exciting development update, working better as evidence of the 15-player lobby nearing completion rather than as anything particularly notable on its own. Still, Innersloth's willingness to be transparent about what's currently happening behind the scenes deserves to be acknowledged.

There are a handful of more surprising confirmations in the new developer update. For example, Innersloth is working on an "updated art style" for Among Us. The won't change things significantly, but it will mean cleaner lines and other small changes to allow for easier animation. Another addition in the next update will be six new colors. Innersloth also hints at plans to identify players other than color.

Suffice to say, changes are coming to Among Us in the near future. It's not just content updates like new maps, but also quality-of-life improvements, changes to game design, and general polish. Innersloth's Among Us has found success, and now it's working to make the game last.

Trying to read into the deception that takes place in Among Us, or trying to be the deceiver, can be quite difficult. It would be worse without some of the important tools placed throughout each of the maps. One of the most useful tools available for anyone to use is the security cameras on The Skeld, Polus, and the Airship.

These cameras are placed in various sections around the map with the central surveillance area located in only one place. Because of its usefulness, both imposters and crewmates can build their own strategies around using the device, which can be a massive advantage if used well.
