If your blinds came with valance clips, go ahead and attach those to the headrail before mounting. Be sure to space them out so they don’t interfere with any mechanisms.
Slide the headrail into the brackets. Close the bracket covers until they snap into place. The blinds should now be secure in the brackets and should not move around.
Snap the valance into the pre-installed clips and adjust as needed.
Test your new blinds by slowly raising and lowering them, as well as tilting the slats back and forth when the blinds are fully extended. Remember that you should never tug on the blinds or put excessive weight on them, no matter how securely you installed them.
